I couldn't believe it!

It was two o’clock in a dark and rainy morning when the phone rang. A man’s voice came through the other side of the telephone: “You need to wake up now. You must leave your flat quickly!” It was an unknown voice. The man was agitated, shivering, when he talked. Then he said: “They are here, they are looking for you”. And he hangs up.
At the beginning I thought it was a nightmare. So I decided to go back to sleep as I had had a particularly busy day and I was really tired.
But then the phone rang again, it was the same voice “I told you needed to leave your apartment right now”, said the man, this time obviously stroked.
Then I realized that I knew that voice from somewhere, it was familiar to me.
“Yes, you know who I am”. I felt terrified, and immediately, I went downstairs to find what was happening there. But there wasn´t nothing at all.
The next morning I came across my friend Alex, who was laughing at me, so I asked him why he was so amused. He told me that the night before he had been calling to all his mates just to play a prank.

Then I realized it was April fool´s day.

Main problems of teenagers

One of the stages in which young people encounter more problems is adolescence.                                                     They have to face a lot of complex decisions such as their future plans and there are also many changes that will continue until they are around twenty years old.                                                                                                 As I said before, these years are filled with changes but also there is a need to develop independence, and pressure from studies and friends.

To begin with the changes, there is the issue with gender. Males and females face different challenges. Girls, for example, have to deal with physical appearance issues as their body is changing. They are in a sense stuck between being a girl and a woman.                                                                                                                      Teenagers also struggle with independence. Parental relationships begin to become more difficult as teens try and find a way to be independence and parents who worry about their future struggle to teach them the before they are grown.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Last but not least, nowadays money has become a larger problem for teens.  Materialism has attacked them as now they all own a cell phone, expensive clothes…

In my opinion teens should worry less, always look at the bright side of the life and take everything with a pinch of salt.  It will be necessary to face hard decisions but it is not necessary to leave them alter us.

Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai, is a Pakistani schoolgirl from the Swat Valley, in the northwestern part of Pakistan. The Talibans tried to assassinate her on 9 October 2012.                                                                                                                                                                              Her father ran a school for girls in Mingora, a town caught in the middle of fighting between Taliban forces and the Pakistani army.                                                                                                                                                                   The first time we hear something about her was when she wrote a diary for the BBC about the terrible things she established as the Taliban closed schools for girls, forbade women from shopping at the public market and murdered anyone who got in the way.
Some weeks ago, as she was leaving school on a bus, Malala and three other girls were shot by gunmen. Malala was clearly the aim as they asked for her name.                                                                                                                                 Malala was taken to England for surgery, and to get her out of harm's way.
Yes, it has been said many times that the war against terrorism is a war for the hearts and minds of people in the Islamic world.                                                                                                                                                                                     In one hand the Taliban, does savajeries in schools to force men to grow beards, and then they physically abuse women who do not comply with their rules.                                                                                                                                         In the other hand, they have no respect for human life or liberty. Women are treated as subhuman.
I strongly belive that nowadays to have a career will help us in the future.                                                                        And just because of the fact of being a woman they should not deny neither the education , nor the studies ,as we have fought many years for our rights and now no one can remove them.

Please, please tell me that  you keep in touch with your childhood friends and you see them often and you're still going to Zarautz every time you have a few days off to see the beach where you grew up and to visit all the people you love.
I hope you've finished the university and looking for a job on what you really like to work.

How I feel being 17

Many people think that being 18 is incredible, and even more if you are independent and you have everything you can ,but strongly I believe that  being 17 is incredible, neither an adult nor a kid.

Since we were kids we dreamed of the day we turn 18 and we could start working on that we loved, like being a dancer, a football player or a teacher. We could go out at night and do whatever we want.                                                                                                                                                       But when we are 18, many responsibilities come into our lives and the big leap comes, we must choose our future when we don´t even know what will happen to us tomorrow.                                                                                                   Yes, in the end,  to be treated as a young girl has finished, welcome to the adult world!

On the other hand, some people think that the perfect age is 17, as you don´t have many responsibilities and you can hang out with your friends and go to some pubs.  You are in the middle of both adult and young and you can be treat as both, depending with who and where you are. And you  can enjoy more your free time as you don´t have to study much.

To sum up, my personal view is that being 17 can be marvelous, as it is the perfect age and it can be the best part of our lives for the teenagers, I would definitely miss being 17.
